We were very satisfied with our stay. The location is excellent , the team is extremely professional and friendly—from security to the front office, rooms very clean and tiddy, the atmosphere is very welcoming. Breakfast had good variety, the kids’ corner was a great touch, and the entrance to was easy and convenient. Check-in was a bit late not much but due to high occupancy, but overall a great experience. Highly recommended.

I have stayed at Swissotel Makkah numerous times, and on every stay I have found this hotel to be exceptional in every way. My check in on this occasion was very special as I was upgraded to a suite with a view of the holy Kaaba from both the living room and bedroom. Everyone from check in to house keeping and the concierge desk are all welcoming and helpful as always. The restaurant buffet at Swissotel Makkah is most definitely the best.

My stay at this hotel was disappointing, especially for a five‑star property. There was a consistently unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioning, and even the pillows had a bad odor. I requested the hotel to replace the pillows, and although they provided new ones, they still had the same unpleasant smell. The breakfast was not good, and the staff’s attitude and service in the restaurant did not reflect the standards of a five‑star hotel. Overall, it was not a good stay, and the price is too high for the level of service provided. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.
