This is my 3rd time staying at Swissotel. I like the hotel and wondering whether there is recognition for someone who stays there often. Because it will help me decide my future stays as well.

We have been to this hotel now for 12 years running with 14 stays in total - this says something for this place. The hotel rooms are spacious the beds are really comfortable, we opted for an executive room with breakfast with much choice and afternoon canopies included. The hotel staff although friendly and polite a lot of them have been replaced. Having said that we now feel that the place/ area is not what it used to be, a lot of empty shops along with a lot more cheap shops. More noticable in the shopping mall. The well known branded shops that once were there are no longer, and replaced with second rate discount stores. The quality has reduced. The city streets contain a lot of none Arabs, who always seam to be upto no good in one way or another, this left us with not much option to venture out from the hotel really, over the years we have walked down Alriger road stopped had a coffee outside, we did this on one occasion this visit. It just hasnt got the same feeling that it has had for us anymore. Its early days yet but at this moment in time we feel its had its best days for us.
