This was a very disappointing stay. I have stayed at more than 10 Accor hotels before, but this was by far the worst experience in terms of both service and facilities. First, after room cleaning, I found a hair inside one of the mugs. This immediately made me question the cleanliness standards of the hotel. The most frustrating issue was the repeated knocking by housekeeping staff before checkout time. We were still clearly staying in the room and were busy packing and getting ready to leave, yet housekeeping knocked on our door three separate times. One staff member knocked, and when I opened the door, simply said “sorry” and walked away. Another time, I answered “yes” before opening the door, but by the time I opened it, the staff member had already disappeared. Instead of repeatedly knocking on guest rooms to check whether guests have checked out, housekeeping should communicate properly with the front desk. Once would still be understandable, but three times was excessive and extremely irritating. The internet connection was also terrible. YouTube videos constantly buffered, and even normal websites often failed to load properly. The signal around the bed area was especially weak, and sometimes there was effectively no internet access at all. Among all the Accor hotels I have stayed at, this was easily the worst internet experience. The shower drainage was another major problem. By the time two people had finished showering, water overflowed from the shower area onto the bathroom floor. The sink area and bath mat became completely soaked, which was very unpleasant. I appreciated the complimentary minibar, but the app described it as “minibar extra,” which made it unclear whether it was actually free or not. The welcome gift was underwhelming, and providing only one tea bag in the room also felt surprisingly cheap. In addition, when leaving or returning to the hotel, the staff around the front desk rarely greeted guests. I was able to go in and out without interacting with anyone at all, which made the hotel feel indifferent and lacking in hospitality. Because of the overall poor service quality, I did not even feel it was worth reporting these issues during my stay. I had no confidence that the hotel would handle them properly. Unfortunately, I will never stay at this hotel again.

The host was flexible with our arrival time and communicated well. The place is lovely, big, well-stocked, with a great view of the Alps.

I had help at the front desk on various things from Pia, Crystal and Seigsi as well as Walla who was very friendly early in the morning. Your staff at the Buffet and restaurant where very accommodating as well. Location was ideal as I was there for Surgery from Hirslanden hospital.
